We are one of the leading providers of support and care services for people with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Peace Nest Care Homes is a warm and compassionate supported living service dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals who face challenges in their daily lives. We also offer tailored support with tasks and activities within their homes and the surrounding community. By embracing a person-centred approach, we empower individuals to make choices and maintain independence.

At Peace Nest Care Homes, everything we do is shaped by the needs, abilities, and aspirations of our service users not by the preferences of staff, management, or any other group. Our approach is centered on creating individualised Care and Support Plans, Risk Assessments, Hospital Passports, and Health Action Plans for each service user. These tools ensure the delivery of effective, person-centered care by addressing the unique needs and preferences of every individual we support.

We provide services to:- The type of Clients we accommodate, and support have varying needs to include:
  • Autistic Spectrum Disorders
  • Mental Health Issues
  • Challenging Behaviour
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Dementia

We provide a variety of care and support services, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual we support. In our Care Quality Commission (CQC)-registered care homes and supported living properties, we offer personal care, medication management, and daily support. In our non-CQC-registered services, we focus on personalised support, including assistance with daily living skills, tenancy management, mental health support, financial advice, and help with finding employment and educational opportunities.

The amount and frequency of support you receive will depend on the type of service you choose and your individual circumstances. Our staff will collaborate with you to create a personalised support plan, helping you live as independently as possible with the appropriate level of assistance. This could range from 24-hour care for individuals with more complex needs, to more limited support of a few hours each week for others. All needs will be assessed before any application is accepted.

Yes, we are committed to empowering individuals to make their own choices and take control of their lives. We will work with you to create a support plan that reflects your needs and preferences, ensuring you are involved in all decisions regarding your care and support.

Our team of experienced staff are trained to deliver high-quality care and support, and we have established policies and procedures to ensure your safety and well-being. We regularly review your needs in accordance with your personalised support plan and collaborate with external agencies when necessary to ensure you receive the appropriate level of support.

Our team will regularly assess your support plan to ensure it continues to meet your needs. If your needs change and require more or less support, we will work with you to adjust your plan accordingly. If your current accommodation is no longer suitable for your evolving needs, we will assist you in finding appropriate alternative accommodation in the local area, whether within another Peace Nest property or in collaboration with another local provider.

Some properties are short-term move-on services, where our team helps individuals work towards independence. Others offer longer-term supported housing, where we focus on supporting residents to achieve their personal goals and aspirations, no matter how big or small.

Yes, you are welcome to have visitors while living in one of our properties. However, some services may have specific arrangements in place based on individual risk assessments. We kindly ask that you respect the needs and privacy of other residents and ensure that visitors do not disrupt the safety and well-being of others.

If you choose to move out, our team will work closely with you, your family, and any other support agencies to ensure you have the necessary support and resources for a smooth transition to your new living arrangements.

Depending on your individual circumstances, we may also be able to offer floating support in your new home, if appropriate.
