Paying for Care and Support
Many people use a personal budget to fund the care and support they receive from our services. This budget is a sum allocated by the local authority (typically the local council) to cover care costs, based on an assessment by a social worker or care manager to ensure you get the right level of support.
Once assessed, you can decide how, when, and by whom your personal budget is spent. You can choose for the local authority to pay your selected support provider directly or receive the funds via Direct Payments to manage payments independently. Some individuals, especially in retirement communities, prefer to self-fund their care, paying for services directly themselves.

Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Our supported housing with care services are all registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and undergo regular inspections to ensure we deliver the highest-quality care. For more information about a specific service, please visit your local service's web page, where you can find a link to the CQC’s most recent report.
