Our Members, Partnerships & Campaigns
Our Members
We provide services to local councils, the NHS, and private service users. An initial assessment is conducted upon request, and placement decisions are made collaboratively with all professionals involved.
Partnerships
At Peace Nest Care Homes, we collaborate with a variety of partners to provide accommodation, care, and support tailored to meet the individual needs of the people we support every day.
In partnership with industry experts, professional agencies, charities, and specialists in their fields, we help residents build confidence and develop essential life skills, empowering them to live as independently as possible whatever that means for each individual.
If your business or organisation is interested in supporting your local Peace Nest Care Homes service, or if you would like to volunteer to help the people we support enhance their skills, improve their well-being, and engage with their community, please get in touch with our local services via info@peacenestcarehomes.co.uk or (01283) 296 932.
Charities, support groups and community groups
Our supported housing services collaborate with local, regional, and national charities, as well as support groups, community projects, and businesses. These partnerships offer residents opportunities to build their skills and confidence, access additional support from specialist agencies, and actively contribute to their local community, benefiting both themselves and the communities where we are present.

Campaigns
At Peace Nest Care Homes, we are dedicated to promoting the benefits of supported housing and engaging with our residents and customers to understand what truly matters to them.
Through national campaigns, we aim to make a positive impact and advocate for inclusion by raising awareness of the challenges faced by those we support.
Learn more about some of the annual national campaigns we support and participate in.
Time to Talk Day
Held every year in early February, Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.
Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week is held every year in mid-May, and is led by the Mental Health Foundation. Peace Nest Care Homes Supported Living services take part in the campaign to encourage residents and staff to talk about their experiences with mental health. Recent topics have included sleep and body image.
Learning Disability Week
Learning Disability Week is an annual campaign in June led by Mencap. It aims to raise awareness of issues which are important to people with learning disabilities. Recent themes have included life post-Covid, sport and inclusion, and art and creativity.
Starts At Home Day
Starts At Home Day, which is led by the National Housing Federation, is an opportunity to celebrate the importance of supported housing services, like ours. We believe that with the right housing and support in place, the people we support can turn their lives around, make positive changes for the future and feel confident that they can live as independently as possible.
Silver Sunday
Silver Sunday, held on the first Sunday in October, is a national day where people of all generations can come together by hosting fun and free activities for older people. It is a day where older people can meet new people, visit new places, try new activities and connect with their local communities and the generations around them.
World Mental Health Day
The World Federation for Mental Health marks World Mental Health Day on 10 October every year. We believe it’s a great opportunity to raise awareness of mental health problems and start conversations around the importance of good mental health.
16 Days of Activism
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence begins on 25 November, which is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and also White Ribbon Day, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. It’s an international campaign that aims to raise awareness of, and prevent, violence against women and girls.
Grow and Thrive
As well as taking part in external campaigns, Peace Nest Care Homes has its own campaign to encourage residents to get outside and enjoy gardening - with the aim of improving their physical health and mental wellbeing and supporting them to form valuable links within their services and their local community.
Grow and Thrive is our annual gardening competition for residents at all our supported living services. Whether you have access to a communal garden, allotment, or courtyard, you can inspire us with developing your garden, and there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs!
